Weddings Unveiled Magazine Fall 2015 Issue x 'In The Gloaming'

As a wedding hair and makeup artist starting my career, one of my first big styled shoot collaborations was completely free. To be honest, many of the vendors participating in the shoot started their career around the same time. We knew it would take a village, vision, and raw talent to make it happen. I donated my talent endlessly (free of charge) at the beginning of my hair + makeup endeavors in Atlanta. It’s something you must do in order to create a name for yourself; the goal was to establish quality work and touch as many faces as possible.

Everything took off when Shauna Veasey Photography and (stylist, interior designer, and then venue owner of Vinewood Stables) J.Elliot brought together an elaborate, dreary yet extravagant, shoot published as a feature in Weddings Unveiled Magazine. October 2015 was an exciting year for Beauty Asylum hair and makeup as we received the news of the recently released wedding magazine published across the Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas.

The six page spread opened new doors for all vendors involved it and was the beginning of Jessica Lyness owner and artist of Beauty Asylum.
