The hair and makeup process can be new and uncertain for some ladies. Our goal at Beauty Asylum is to make the trial process thorough and fun for you. Below you will find our pretrial recommendations- this will allow you to come to your makeup trial prepared while giving our stylist the information they need for a successful makeup look. It’s important:

We can opt for traditional makeup or airbrush makeup as the base. If you’re torn between the two applications, check out our blog post here. If you’re unsure about the best option between airbrush or traditional makeup discuss your thoughts with your personal stylist at the time of your trial. Our stylist will be able to assess your skin and make the best recommendations based on the look you would like to achieve.

What to expect:

Our bridal makeup trials are scheduled for 1.5 hrs with your personal artist. This provides 15 minutes to consult, 1 hour to style, and 15 minutes to make adjustments. This is a guide and the timing can vary based on the style and artist. The lead stylist with you at the trial will be the same stylist with your for the big day. To make the most out of your bridal preview we recommend starting with something light & natural on the eyes (unless you know exactly what you want). We can add-on more product to find the amount of depth/color you like. Lip color is a personal touch and it will come down to what feels comfortable. At the trial, we can try/swatch a couple shades of lip color while opting for the color stay formula at the very end (upon request). If you like a soft glow on the lip we recommend purchasing the lip color after your trial as a touch up for wedding day.
